 The self-catering flat.

 No. 10 Sand-Bay has stunning views in the main bedroom and lounge of the famous three miles long, beautiful Perran Beach, St Piran's Way, Perranporth.

The self-catering flat is literally built on the sand dunes - at night, you can gaze out onto the beautiful Perranporth sands and take in the amazing sunset views whilst in the comfort of our well equipped flat.  It is positioned on the first floor so has the most amazing views and is a great place to be when you want to just relax, chill and watch the world go by.

The self-catering flat can sleep up to 8 people and consists of two bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and a lounge. Both the Lounge and main bedroom look over the beautiful Perran Beach.

The second bedroom in our self-catering flat contains two single beds and has plenty of storage space. Our spacious main bedroom consists of a double bed and also has two bunk beds, with storage space which includes a wardrobe and chest of drawers.  The main bedroom overlooks the stream, beach, and sand dunes.
The bathroom is equipped with a bath, a shower, toilet and sink with enough space for towels etc.
The lounge in the self-catering flat consists of a large sofa bed, another small sofa, and a large wooden dining table. There is a TV and DVD player with plenty of choice of DVD's, a bookcase with plenty of books to entertain you throughout your stay and even some board games.  The lounge is also equipped with a box full of fun beach items for little ones to use whilst staying in our flat, including bucket & spades, balls etc. There are also outside chairs for the times when you just fancy a BBQ on the beach and windbreakers to finish off the whole BBQ on the beach look.  If you don't fancy that then you can just relax in the apartment with our stunning views and watch the world go by without getting your feet sandy!

The Kitchen at our self catering flat is very well equipped with everything you could need to serve up some scrumptious meals however if you want to take a complete break then there are plenty of restaurants in Perranporth village including the Wateringhole which is actually located on the beach with amazing views and bands playing during the weekend evenings.
The self-catering flat is dog-friendly and the beach is extremely dog-friendly as well, with times when your dog can run free however during the day they will need to be on a lead.

There is an on-site launderette and Perranporth village has many useful shops including a large Co-op with a convenient cash machine, Butchers, Bakers, DIY store, Post Office, Bank, Boots the Chemist and Doctors Surgery. There are many Pubs which serve great pub food and many other shops and cafes including Perranporth favourite Waffle shop, a fantastic Indian Takeaway, Chinese Takeaway and Pizza Takeaway if you want to eat at home.

Perranporth has many things to do apart from the amazing beaches and beautiful walks to St Agnes or Holywell Bay. For the adventurous walker, you may even want to walk to Newquay.  It is about an 11-mile walk and takes about four hours, however, the views are breathtaking, with many little pockets of beaches to walk across it - is a real adventure even for the little ones!  (including Holywell Bay, West Pentire and Crantock, then Newquay)  

There is an excellent 18 hole golf course nearby, horse-riding for the adventurer young and old, and gliding. Perranporth also has many surfing and kite schools, there are bike trails in  Perranporth and in the local area, in particular, the famous Padstow Camel Trail which is an amazing flat bike trail with stunning views of Padstow (so great even for kids), you can even take your dog in a carrier if they don't want to run too far!!

There is tennis, bowling and even a play park to keep the little ones entertained at the top of the village - Perranporth park.  There is a museum that includes many interesting facts about Perranporth and the tin-mining community. On the top of the hill is a boating lake which is lots of fun with little boats to hire. In the summer Perranporth has a Carnival which is spectacular and great fun for all involved and watching. St Agnes which is only a few miles away also has a Carnival during the summer and is also fun entertainment in a beautiful little village

Newquay is about 6 miles away. it has a fantastic Zoo which is situated right next to Waterworld which has two swimming pools one for main swimming and one with slides and lots of fun things to play on.
 Perran Beach in Perranporth.

Our beautiful Perran Beach in Perranporth is three miles long and at low tide, you can walk from Perran Sands to Penhale Sands.  Perran Beach is a fantastic, clean, stunning beach which is situated right next to an archetypal beach town with quaint little shops and well-equipped food grocery stores.

Perran Beach, Perranporth consists of amazing rock pools, especially fantastic for little ones to play in all day.The beach even has a rock square pool for the braver children and adults to plunge into.  Down the three mile beach walk at Perran Sands, Perranporth you will see the many caves and sand dunes which make up this beautiful part of the country.

Perran Beach also is renowned for its surfing for amateur and professional surfers young and old with fantastic white waves, Lifeguards patrol the beach from May to September on both Perran Beach and Penhale Sands.

Perranporth's name comes from Porth Peran which is Cornish for Cove of Saint Piran, Saint Piran was the patron Saint of Cornwall who lived in the 7th Century.  Perranporth is renowned for it's Sand Dunes which are protected as they contain many rare plants and insects and include Cornwall's largest colony of Silver-Studded Blue (a Red Data Book Species), you can have many wonderful walks through this beautiful area admiring the scenery and wildlife on the many coastal paths.
